Turfgrass Disease
Posted by
Unknown
This last weekend we had some heavy rain. The spring has stayed cool which has given us some disease pressure.
This is a picture of Snow Mold, a disease that is common on Poa in cooler wet weather.

Spraying the Greens
Posted by
Unknown
This last week we sprayed for Pink Snow Mold. We sprayed the greens Monday to prevent the turf disease because the forcast was calling for wet and cool conditions. The melting of the snow produces over saturated conditions which is ideal for this disease. The protection is designed to last nearly one month on the greens but we are check when possible to make sure our control is working properly.
State University explain their work on Microdochium Patch aka. Pink Snow Mold.
